Andhra Pradesh Teaching Vacancy 2025 Eligibility

a) School Assistant (Mathematics):

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics/ Statistics or any one of the three equivalent optional subjects from a University recognized by the UGC with minimum 50% marks in graduation. For SC/ ST/ OBC/ Persons with Benchmark Disability candidates minimum marks should be 45% and

should have passed B.Ed./B.Ed. (Special Education) with Mathematics as a subject from any institution recognized by NCTE/RCI.

b) School Assistant (Physical Sciences):

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree with at least two of the following subjects as optional subjects: Physics / Applied Physics / Engineering Physics & Instrumentation and Chemistry / Applied Chemistry / Industrial Chemistry / Pharmaceutical Chemistry / Medicinal Chemistry / Biochemistry / Electronics / Geology or Physics / its allied subjects or Chemistry / its allied subjects as main subject and other as subsidiary / subsidiary subject with 50% marks in Graduation from a University recognized by the UGC, minimum marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST/BC/Persons with Benchmark Disability should be 45% in Graduation, and

should have passed B.Ed. / B.Ed. (Special Education) with Physics/ Chemistry/ Science from any Institution recognized by NCTE/RCI.

C) School Assistant (Biological Science):

Bachelor’s degree with Botany and Zoology as optional subjects (or) one of these as main and the other as subsidiary subject (or) any two other allied subjects such as Public Health/ Human Genetics/ Genetics/ Biochemistry/ Chemistry/ Environmental Science/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Industrial Microbiology/ Agriculture/ Food Technology/ Fisheries/ Nutrition/ Geology/ Sericulture/ Horticulture/ Forestry/ Poultry/ Pharmacology/ Pharmacy/ General Microbiology Optional Subject 1, Chemistry Optional Subject-2, Genetics/ Bioinformatics/ Molecular Biology/ Agricultural/ Marine Biotechnology Optional Subject-3 (or) M.Sc. Biotechnology 5 years integrated course at graduation level with 50% marks from a University recognized by UGC; In case of SC/ST/OBC/Persons with Benchmark Disability, minimum 45% marks in graduation and

B.Ed./B.Ed. with Biological Sciences/ Natural Sciences/ Science/ Botany/ Zoology as one of the subjects from any Institution recognized by NCTE/RCI. (Special Education) must be passed.

(d) School Assistant (Social Studies):

(i) History (ii) Ancient Indian History Culture & Archaeology (iii) Economics (iv) Geography (v) Political Science (vi) Politics (vii) Public Administration (viii) Commerce (ix) Sociology (x) Social Work (xi) Anthropology (xii) Social Anthropology (xiii) Philosophy (xiv) Psychology (xv) Business Economics (xvi) Business Organisation & Management (xvii) Statistics/ Business Statistics/ Quantitative Techniques (xviii) Financial Services, Banking & Insurance (xix) Accountancy/ Financial Accounting (xx) Fundamentals of Information Technology or its equivalent Computer Systems & Programme Theory (xxi) Industrial Relations (xxii) Foreign Trade with 50% marks in Graduation from a University recognized by UGC; in case of SC/ST/BC/Persons with Benchmark Disability candidates, the minimum marks will be 45% and they should have passed B.Ed./B.Ed. (Special Education) with Social Studies/Social Science/Geography/History/Politics/Political Science/Economics.

(e) School Assistant (English):

Graduation degree with English as main subject (or) one of the optional subjects (or) Post Graduate degree in English from a University recognized by the UGC with 50% marks in Graduation or Post Graduation; in case of SC/ST/BC/Persons with Benchmark Disability candidates, minimum marks should be 45% and

should have passed B.Ed./B.Ed. (Special Education) with English method from any Institute recognized by NCTE/RCI.

(f) School Assistant (Telugu):

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree with Telugu as a main subject (or) one of the three equivalent elective subjects (or) Bachelor’s Degree in Oriental Languages (B.O.L) in Telugu (or) its equivalent (or) Post Graduate degree in Telugu from a University recognized by the UGC with 50% marks either in Graduation or Post Graduate level; in case of SC/ST/BC/Persons with Bench Mark Disability candidates, minimum marks shall be 45%, and

must have passed B.Ed./B.Ed. (Special Education) with Telugu as a methodological subject (or) Telugu Pandit Training from a University recognized by NCTE/RCI (or) its equivalent.

Andhra Pradesh Teaching Vacancy 2025 Age Limit

No person will be eligible for this recruitment if he is less than 18 years of age as on 01/07/2024 and if he is more than 44 years of age. However, the maximum age limit will be 49 years in case of SC/ST/BC/EWS candidates and the maximum age limit will be 54 years in respect of Persons with Benchmark Disabilities.
