WBSSC Recruitment 2025 Education

Classes IX and X

(a) Graduate/Postgraduate degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in Graduation or Post Graduate (or its equivalent) and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from an Institution recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education OR
(b) 4 years B.A. Ed/B.Sc. Ed. A degree from an Institution recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education.

Classes XI and XII

(a) Post Graduate (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks from a recognised University and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from an Institution recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education; OR
(b) Post Graduate (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks from a recognised University and B.A. Ed/B.Sc. Ed. from an Institution recognised by the NCTE.

WBSSC Recruitment 2025 Age Limit

Minimum 21 years and maximum 40 years. However, the upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ ST candidates, 3 years for BC candidates, and 8 years for physically handicapped candidates. The age limit will be considered as of January 1, 2025.
